Watching movies in German is a perfect way to have fun whilst learning a language! Listening to people speak German not only widens your vocabulary but helps you improve on your pronunciation! As well as this, German blogs, news articles etc are a great way to build confidence as it facilitates faster learning

  • This movie focuses on A1 content. It is about a Spanish traveller named Nico who loses his bag whilst at the German airport. The language is kept very basic so i recommend this video if you just want a mild taste of German!
  • This movie is part 2 of the video linked above and is about how Nico finds Germany and how he has adapted to it. It's very realistic!
  • This blog consists of a German girl blogging her day-to-day actvities in Germany. She goes into detail about uni life which may be beenficial to those of you who wish to study abroad! It includes English subtitles to!
  • This German news website includes all the latest updates about Germanys economic climate, global warming and much more! You can read the page in German or in English by switching the laguage at the top right corner
